well shit my sever is in kernel panic (whatever the fuck that means) and it might be down for up to 24 hours... it should be back by then, if the data is still in tact :/

same with all my resources too

Usually a reboot will clear it up, but the question is what caused it since it is not normal. It can be caused by installing bad drivers or a hardware problem.

Anyway no one bans for a server that is unreachable, but it might get your stuff deleted.

thanks for the link cleo, the reboot is what caused the kernel panic to be found in the first place. i thought it was just a dns issue before that LOL

the weird thing is that i have done nothing to the server (especially not the kernel) ever - either the file structure got fucked up somehow or its a hardware issue. we shall see
