Social Bookmarking Question...
 

Im just not sure how they work. |huh Are articles/blog posts submitted to them individually or do they somehow "harvest" the articles. Sorry for the confusion, just trying to get a grip on them. And not only for adult but also mainstream/non adult projects. I dont want to miss out on a promotional tactic.

For adult blogs, you just put up the social bookmarking button for your surfers to "add" or "favorite" it. It is used per blog post. For example, X-Digg offers you to put up a button on your site. If a surfer is a member of X-Digg, whenever the surfer clicks to vote it, your blog post gets a point. The more you have, the more chances you will have to be on their index page therefore the more traffic you will have. The same goes for mainstream blogs that uses Digg. Technorati and other services as so are similar in their procedures as well although there are may be a couple or more of differences.

Thanks AJ, I have the share/bookmark option with each blog post just wanted to make sure. I'll have to look at x-digg though. I appreciate the reply.

Jester , open an account at each Adult SB site and submit each of your posts. Its free one way links to each post - it probably won't result in huge traffic , but every little bit helps in this game.
