I'll take some of that snow, MML. I'm stuck with a 75-degree day with a nice breeze here, and supposed to be 79 on Christmas. Nice to have nothing to shovel but it does make getting in the spirit a little harder. Oh well, maybe I'll try the weather channel on one screen and a HD yule log burning on the other with the a/c turned way down tonight.

Wishing everyone a "fuck! is there really only one more shopping day?!?" kind of day.

A new Mellow Mushroom opened last night about 100 yards from my house. Obviously we thought we'd check it out but the place was packed. Like a 90 minute wait.

I really should get my Dad something for Xmas - Mom got a trip to Vegas, Dad's SOL as of right now. I hope I can get a gift cert online since I really don't want to leave the house.

I'll be off shortly to finish my last minute shopping, although this year we did pretty good & I don't really have much left to get yay me :)

We started setting up my son's gift pc last night and found out that the cord they gave us for the monitor doesn't work so hopefully they won't give me a hard time and just switch it out. Good thing I found out now!

for some reason I couldn't sleep last night.. i think it's the stress of THAT ONE day out of the year has finally gotten to me..

I hate obligation gifts.. and every farking year i say.. DO NOT GET ME ANYTHING.. and every farking year.. they do which means yet again today I have to go out to the |angry| store and get something... I'm thinking that when i'm at the Palms, I can buy 10.00 7-11 gift cards with my points. that should do it. |jester|

otherwise just another day of work, bank, pick up the laundry, pick up the football picks (and hopefully the stats) and back to work.

For some reason my brain kept me up all night. Been reading some gardening books, trying to plan my garden for next year, and spent the night rearranging them in my head. I hope to see a nap in my future.

Going to splurge and have lunch at the local casino today. Hard to beat $13 total for all you can eat buffet for two. :) They have lots of veggies and salads for me, and meat for MadHatter. That sentence sounds funny, now that I type it, lol.

Hello and Good day to All. Well 2 days till Xmas day is everyone ready got all your shopping done ? I havent LOL. Nothing but work for me today and maybe a bit of shopping other than that not muchn here.

The snow is suppose to start melting today, but maybe not, but maybe by the weekend we are suppose to be back to our average for this time of year of 47F. They are also saying this is the worse storm since 1980 and judging from all the problems I've seen I believe it, I don't think I have ever seen such a large city not capable of dealing with snow.

Got some las minute shopping to do today, that should be fun. And I've also got lots and lots of wrapping on my plate today. That's about it for me. |waves|
