sitting on the computer for long hours gets really boring and you start to find it hard to concentrate.

so what do you do to take a break ?

personally i find myself going for walks LOL, most of my freind have a day job so its not as if i can go round to there house, so i find myself doing weird things like going to the shop for things i dont need, and alot more strange things.

so what do you do ?

I will get up and go snowmobiling during the winter or during the summer (since I live on a lake) I will take the jet ski's out or just take the boat out and go fishing or take a cruise around the lake.

During the winter there is much less to do, but sometimes just watching tv as opposed to working is a good thing to give your brain a rest. I like to watch a movie that doesnt have to make me think too much, but makes me laugh my ass of when i have put in a hard day, just keeps my mind off work.

With all the inactivity it's nice to either have a home weight set or belong to a gym.

We weren't meant to sit our asses in a chair stairing at a glowing screen all day every day.

Plus, working out makes ya feel good and helps get ya tired so ya can sleep at a semi-normal time.

I mean free weights and the basics like deadlifts, bench press and deadlifts...no gay 'machines'. |thumb

If it's just a quicky, I go for a walk otherwise I go kayaking :)

I like to go to Target and sniff the womens panties....er um, I mean I like to whittle.

I take a smoke... outside |rasta|

When I need a break I go out to eat. :)

Unless I'm with Dr B then he drags me to target |sad| it's so damn embarrassing |verysad

I walk around the docks can always find a fisherman to B.S. with.
Also keep a fishing pole handy with a plastic lure a few good casts seem to help me figure things out when I go totaly brain dead

For a long break I go and play golf, my brother is a student and always willing to skip a few classes to go with me. My son is now 8 months old so he is quite enough entertainment the rest of the time.

I work out at the gym four or so days a week. I also ride my bicycle to the beach and enjoy working in the yard. :)

Shopping is also high on my list of fun things to do. :)

I like to stand in front of the tv when the girls are watching Tom & Jerry or something they like which pisses them off. They then attack me |knockout| so I get a good work out fighting with them.....I usually come out worse for wear with bite marks and scratches. It's good for a laugh tho.

Fishing is good here in the summer - in the winter I got nothing except the odd walk with the dog and the xbox.

Is drinking a recreation?

I play both Fantasy Football & Hockey.

I have season tickets for the Buffalo Bills.

I used to collect Simpsons memorabelia, but that's taking up too much space.

I go to the local Casino every now & then & have become infatuated with Texas Hold'em over at Choice Poker :D

I like a bit of Hold 'Em myself but play over at Party Poker. Does Choice Poker take Epassporte? If so feel free to send me a referral link.

I actually work hours upon hours on end, than it runs into days, no breaks, no fun.. BUT than when I decide it's time for a break, I explode and makeup for it, Hockey games (have season tickets). A little place we call The Wave, especially in the summer it's a rip, or Ill watch a zillion Dvd's, play Xbox, catchup on Tivo, or do all of the above for a week or so :)|bananna|

I go shopping.,love that..
Unfortunately laundry is one of those things that you have to get up and do..:) so that gets me away from the pc for a bit too..
When it's nice out, the bf and I usually go for bike rides through rockland/westchester..
we just put an offer in for a log cabin house in greenwood lake, so I guess I'll be doing more stuff outside this summer..

I gotta tell ya..I play hoyle casino on line games..have been for years..blackjack and poker..I am addicted
it's fake money but I have 2 billion dollars in my account..
I must say I do kick some serious blackjack ass..:)
but only when there is no real money involved..take me to a casino and I am broke in 5 minutes..!!

There are no breaks...Until CSI comes on 2 times during the week!

I bowl on league twice a week and on Fridays we force ourselves to have a movie night where we make some popcorn, order a pizza watch DVDs all night.
