Looking for feedback on my blog
 

I have been blogging for years but this is the first time I have ventured into adult content. I would appreciate any feedback you can provide.

My goal is to have a nice looking site that does not overwhelm the visitor with ads but I do want to make sure it is monotonized correctly.

I do plan to put some more ads in the sidebar but wanted to get some feedback before I continued. All constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.

Kind of difficult to judge with so little content and I assume the text is just some type of place holder.

It's a nice looking template but don't understand having navigation at the top and bottom.

Is it going to be a hardcore teen blog or a softcore teen? The banner is hardcore but the pictures look softcore.

Yes, the text is filler. It is commonly used by web designers instead of actual text so that people don't focus on the text.

Thanks for the compliment on the template. I designed it and really like it. The site is going to be hardcore. Those were just some example pictures but one thing I was wondering if the pics in the post should be softer and entice people to click or if I should put some harder ones in there as well. Having navigation at the bottom is a basic design that more and more people seem to be getting away from.

Just want to give you a heads up, Teen Babes is probable the most competitive niche in adult, you will make more money if you go for a less competitive niche

I think it would be better to link to the free hosted gallery itself, instead of creating a bland page on your own blog with cropped thumbs of half-heads.

As for the pic on the post itself, display the best one you think would get a surfer's attention.

I don't mind the nav at the bottom as well - its more the the user experience I'm supposing - the pages on blogs can get pretty long - so put a nav at the end to stop them having to scroll back up....

I understand the purpose of the filler text but for me when evaluating a blog one of the things I would normally look at is how well the text and the visual's work together to develop the content.

As far the pictures themselves, this is what you have to immediately grab the surfers attention. As Pat said your working probably the most competitive niche there is and if you don't grab the surfer immediately, he'll probably leave pretty quickly. Your post title and your pictures become even more important because of the niche.

I would probably use a harder pic than what you have, something to at least suggest that some hardcore action is about to take place (girl on knees with cock staring her in the face for an example)

I'll agree with cropped thumbs of half heads but I personally like the touch of building the gallery myself and integrating it into my site design.

I agree on the half heads on the gallery. I am going to look into making the thumbs bigger to avoid this.

As for linking to the gallery, unfortunately it is not a hosted gallery. I had to download the photos. But I could be wrong since I am new to this.

The theme looks nice. I would suggest you cropping your thumbs instead of hotlinking the full size image and resizing them down using the width and height attributes in the IMG tag. Not only will it look nicer but it will also use less bandwidth considering the file size of the images shall be smaller.

I have to agree. Cant really tell too much with just one test post. The theme looks good and I have to also agree with Pat and say general teen is a very saturated niche. If you could get more into a teen micro niche or even broke down a bit further than just general teen you'd be better off.
