Question About Story AVS
 

OK I'm a writer more than a webmistress, I'll admit that up front LOL Anyhow, I have a bunch of stories that I've written myself. I want to put them behind an AVS but without having to put any pics. In other words it'd be a story site in the strictest sense of the word. So, here are my questions:

1. What AVS should I use?
2. How many stories do I need to put inside of it? I want to treat it like a pay site and send most of my traffic to it when I get everything rolling.

I know that this can be done but just need some help working it all out. Anyone who knows anything... I'd love your help. Thanks!

I've got a couple of story sites with NetVerifier that do ok, but they also have pictures and I can't find anywhere in NV's rules a minimum # for just stories :(
You could email them at wmsupport@netverifier.com and ask, they're pretty quick to reply.
IMO they are the best AVS out there for mini-paysites with a recurring income. The other one you might want to look at is CyberAge.

Thanks SheepGuy. I already got an email into NV and haven't heard from them in a few days. MrMaryLou helped me out with CyberAge and I think I'll give them a try. Maybe I'll get really adventurous someday and use both of them with separate tours and shit. Thanks for the reply :D

Net verifier checks there email constantly, It might be possible it didnt get through. If you are still thinking about promoting them, I can check on monday and see just what the conditions are for story sites.

Sassy I use Netverifier and they do well for me.

The established wisdom is that you can't make money with story sites because stupid Literotica is busy giving everything away for free. At the same time I know there's plenty of people out there who do like erotic fiction.

Are you quite sure you don't want to add pics as an added incentive to join the site? Or at least to put on the tour? That would be my approach. I've got a story site at Netverifier but I've done illustrated stories and added galleries to beef it up.

Grandmascrotum. I may put a pic gallery in to beef the site up some. I'm debating and plus even CA requires some pics so...

Sassy - I dont know which is best but for basic story site I'd say minimum of 15 and you'd be safe with 20. But again thats what Im guessing. Hopefully you'll get a definite answer.

Heres the anwser i got for you sassy.
There are no guidelines for stories - as long as they follow the basic rules one banner per page on bottom under content etc...
So, Like jester said, I would start with 15 or 20 stories. If you have any problems you can contact me, and I will see what I can do for you.
