Some sad news Dravyk passed away
 

This is some real sad news Dravyk passed away yesterday. He was one of the good one's I had the pleasure of knowing him and he will be sadly missed. There is the thread over at Netpond RIP Harry you will be missed :(

What a SAD SAD day. The news took me as a shock. I use to work for him when I first started out. I wrote for Netpond News. Dravyk was always so fucking cool (so was Elektra) I'm going to miss him. It's sooo sad that yet another old timer (and a guy with a heart of gold) is gone from this biz :(((((((((

I only knew the nick but from way back although I do remember meeting him briefly at one of the conventions.

To answer my question, a heart attack.

I'd read he had a heart condition.

His mother died earlier this week I gather - and the stress took it's toll.

And now he's in the peace of death.

Where we will all be soon enough.

RIP to the man who pushed me to create Sykk Thoughts and never ever censored a single word I ever wrote for him.

I'm so sorry to hear this news :( I personally didn't know him, but he sounds like a wonderful man and will be missed greatly.

May he RIP

It's one of the weird but nice things about webmastering, we all grieve a little for people we've never met.

Very sad news, I didn't know him, but it's very sad when any member of our community leaves us. Reading the posts over at NP it sounds like he was a very straight up guy. RIP

Wow.. what a shock. Dravyk, you will be missed.

I'm gonna post more over on Netpond, but Drav was a pioneer in this industry & a true friend. He'll be missed.

I never knew him, but it's always sad when your friends friend and a good guy passes away, I could have been gone myself from my heart attack and another what they said was a mild cardiac event 6 months after the first...

When you do, a link would be cool. Dunno if that violates rules or sumthin, but would still be cool.

Makes one realize how fragile life is.

Rest in peace Harry. Hard to believe you're gone. You'll be missed by many.

Dravyk is one of a few people that helped me out when I got my start in this business, and for that I'm ever so grateful. We haven't spoken in years, but I do remember all his projects and things he did, all of them were done with ethics, morals, and high standards.

You ask me, Dravyk's been a beacon for this industry, and will be sorely missed.

A good guy and innovator gone..
