Need help starting up again - or advice!

Hi All,

So I've decided to give my good ol' business another go but need a little help/advice. It's been probably 3 years now since I left this business, had a nice well paid full time developer job and no time to spare, but now I am just so sick of it and want out....help please!

Where do I find .net adult hosting?
Where do you go get good content at a cheap price?

Kind regards
Sodo :o)

Welcome back Sodo. I'm starting over again after 3 years too. It must be that time LOL

Sodo 2009-01-24 05:08 PM

Yeah must be :) hehe

I just hope we don't need to learn it all from the beginning again. :)

Sorry folks, you pretty much will. Learn it all over that is.

Not a great time in the biz.

CD's hosting can't be beat - he's our resident expert. http://www.colo-cation.com/virtual-hosting.htm

Buying your own content used to be the way to go - it's less important now.

Sodo was on colo14 back in August 2001. :)

Welcome back Sodo.

Hi Chris,

Yeah that is true, I will look at what you've got to offer these days :)

I am sad to hear that times are bad in this business, but I guess it has to do with the general economical crisis of the world.

So I guess it's even more hard work these days than it was back then :o/

Kind regards
Martin

Hi Chris,

I just ordered a plan with you, now I am wondering where I should register my domains these days, is it possible through colo-cation or do I need to go somewhere else and register a domain?

Kind regards
Sodo

I don't think that you're going to have to learn it all over again. I know I haven't had to. Things are bad everywhere but this biz is always good if you know how to work it

Chris doesn't do domain registers but there are a bunch to choose from. There have been some negative experiences with GoDaddy but many others have been happy with them and there are many others to choose from. I personally use DirecNIC but they are a couple of bucks more then places like GoDaddy.

PS: I remember your name from way back. :)

Hi Cleo,

OK thanks for the info, I have used godaddy to register my new domain.

It's also Good to be remembered, a new site is coming your way at some point today. I can't believe how my site building skills have deteriorated - I need to shake of some of the rust.

Kind regards
Sodo
