What about buying traffic or SE submit services?

What about buying traffic or SE submit services?

FuckingBastard 2009-01-28 01:10 PM

Well, ten days ago i just purchase around 12 k of quality traffic from a broker which i didn`t heard anything wrong until now, traffic adept, and which not sell and buy traffic from tubesites as well. The traffic was for one of my bbw blog and i received around 9-10% from the total.
I check out my stats, and i saw only TGPs sending me traffic, for the blog. However i dont know that it`s a my good move.
About the conversion, i didn`t see nothing from that 10%. But i still hope.Shoud i expect from sales with bought qualitty traffic ( only us and canada as well) ?!

5K traffic, some story no result at all!

In general if they could have made more money with the traffic they wouldn't be selling it to you.

That`s right more or less.If i would buy poor traffic with 1$/ 1 k i agree with that. But when buy 1k traffic with arround 6$ i guess the expectation is others IMHO.

No need for that either. Any of the major search engines will find your site without submitting it to them.

Putting this gently...if you have to ask, you shouldn't try running a paysite.

HowlingWulf is correct about purchased traffic. It has limited uses. It's good for feeding your traffic trade script on a TGP, but its value is severely limited on any other type of site and one shouldn't purchase $6 of traffic and expect to make a $30 sale. If it worked that way, we'd all be rich.

I personally feel that bought traffic is only good to push trades and also get your web site's name in front of as many people as possible. Buying traffic should be looked upon as a wish list type of thing. Im going to get "X" amount of traffic to the site. Hopefully "X" percent will come back. Rinse. Repeat.

There are different kinds of bought traffic. The most common is skimmed feeder traffic, and that's what the majority of brokers are selling.

Some brokers sell stricly clicked traffic, which is more expensive, but also much better quality.

The other common type of purchased traffic is placed banners or text links such as the ones you see top of this page.

Each have their pros and cons, but don't expect any of them to convert to paysite sales at a rate high enough to pay for the traffic.

Well, so the people buy traffic only to send the garbage to traders and expect to get some qualitty traffic in return, which convert ?

InfoGuy 2009-01-29 03:06 PM

There's an old saying that what is one man's garbage is another man's treasure.

Feeder traffic is used to 'prime the pump' while growing a trade list. Obviously it's not going to be as good as other sources, but added to a mix and filtered by a good site layout you can send far less of the unproductive traffic to your trades.

Traffic trading is a subtle science where the many little details add up to more than the sum of the parts.
