Using a second sponsor on a freesite?

Offering the surfer choice ie dating/pills/mulit-site ad etc.
How effective is it?
Any stats on it?
What are you having success with?
Can the multi site type ad work?
I have not really done it myself.
Thanks

There was a thread or two that talked about this, I am too lazy to look, and some people have better luck just promoting a single sponsor throughout the freesite.

I almost always give a second choice, works for me, on the index/warning and main page. With sponsor content I only promote that sponsor on the galleries.

What works for me may not work for you, so experiment and good luck :D

I dont know if I just fluked it but I already got a sale off a multi-site ad
The first one I have ever used.

i always think its handy to give the surfer a second option for something on your site

IMO, it's a bad idea to add a second sponsor on a page that uses a different sponsor's content. AFAIK, most sponsors don't like their unique content being used to promote other sponsors and some expressly forbid it. If you want to offer alternatives, I think the best choice is to offer a different site from the same sponsor.

I agree, but if you use your own bought content then there will be no problem to use more sponsors on one page

I always add a second sponsor to the index and main page and a single sponsor on the gallery pages (the sponsor that I got the content from). That seems to work for me.

I usually use a dating and cam sponsor on my index and main pages. I have not done well with these, however.
