Hey all, was up early to take my mom down for pre-op registration as she goes in today for severe kidney stones. She's been dealing with them for close to 2 months and today they are going to get her in the ER and try and break them up enough to allow her to pass them. The good thing about having to wiat around is she's been an RN for 40 years and in the admin. dept. for 24 years..so Im in a nice posh waiting area that has wireless w00t!

So its a bit of working and lurking for a while. Other than that, its just a good day. Hope everyone enjoys theirs.

I watched The Last Samurai last night for the 1st time - pretty good movie (I'll review more 6 year old movies next week)

Today is pretty much like every other day, but I do need to get my tax crap together.

I was up very early but tried repairing and fixing my old mini, the PPC one somehow, and it is back but it was up and down lately a lot of times... and started snowing, nice change after the rainy days, it took like 30 min and everything is white.. like I said, it's nice just hard to move because of the ice.

Morning. Throat kinda hurts. I'm thinking it's the weather. Watched Heros last night. It was alright. Saved 24 for later tonight. CSI Miami with P Diddy or whatever the hell he is going by these days was decent. Was the first one I've watched in HD and that was cool. :)

Today I need to make some phone calls and get some things rolling. Along with the current projects another HUGE project has landed in my lap.

Stayed home from the offline job and went to the doctor this morning. He gave me some meds that made me dizzy so I spent the afternoon on the couch catching up on CSI, Las Vegas, NCIS and The Shield episodes. I could get used to this :)

Anyway, trying to get some reviews done now and after that is back to bed early I guess.

Have you noticed that almost every zombie movie released in 2007-2008 seems to have the song "In The House - In A Heartbeat", or a song inspired by that song in it?

Its almost like every music director picked for those movies saw '28 days later' and thought, you know, that song really means impending doom.

I would make it my ringtone if I could. haha.
