http://www.iicinternet.com/ as a host ? If so I would like to hear your opinions about their service ....

Im hosted with hostony right now and Im so $%$#%$# pissed about the 5-10 min. downtimes that happen in various moments through the day....

Nothing against iicinternet.com - I've never heard of them or of anyone who has used them before - and I guess that's what makes me post this point...

TALK TO OTHER WEBMASTERS. Ask them what hosting companies they use - how reliable they are - and would they recommend them to you for use with your sites. Find out about their downtimes/reliability, costs, customer service, etc... Our community itself - and especially the very vocal/honest group here @ GreenguyandJim.com - is a HUGE resource for people who are looking to work with new services/programs.

If a webmaster has an awesome host - he/she will brag about that host until the cows come home. lol On the other hand, if they have a crappy host - you'll hear about it too - sometimes even MORE than the good reviews.

Also.... don't discount the "big guys" hosting companies - you'll find that many hosting services today offer a wide range of packages/programs to suit your specific needs & budget. You're paying for it - why not get the most for your $$$?

I am with Akira Web which is run by Jinx...so far so good with them...20 bucks gets me 75 gigs BW ...if you're gonna go beyond that talk to jinx and you can get some bulk prices...They have a good C-Panel and jinx is usually around on #greenguyandjim if u are having a problem. He's a fellow webmaster so he is very understanding about things.

I also have heard that airweb is good...they have the exact same prices as Akira...i went with akira cuz jinx owns it...

hmm as for Akira Web I wanted to use their service but I wanted to ask few questions Jerry first and he answered 2 days later so I thought that if their support is going to be that good I'll go with hostony....

How is support at Akira web ? and what about downtimes ?

Never had any downtime as of yet...as for support...i usually just drop a "u there?" PM to jinx on #greenguyandjim and he gets back to me with in like 30 min and i ask what needs to be asked
