Couple of questions about gay sites.
 

I've been getting more and more gay submits, and I welcome them but I think it's time I start categorizing them as I now have just a "gay" category.

I want to keep it 4 or less for now, and was wondering what the top gay categories might be. I'm clueless as I'm a pussy man myself...:).

One other question...I know lots of list are tossing the category recips, but do you think it's a good idea to have submitters link to gay categories when submitting gay sites, or does it really matter? If someone comes to my index or main page, they're gonna see lots of tits and pussy, probably not what a gay porn surfer is looking for..(but then again, ya never know...:) )

I run a gay LL, and have 15 cats, my top 4 cats for submissions are Bears, Twink, Ebony, and Interracial.

If you are already using the cat recips for your others, I'd use them for the different gay cats too. When I ran gay on my main LL, I just had every recip to the index, or main though.

Excellent, exactly what I was looking for...although I'm getting some good bondage/bdsm...I guess I need to look though my database and see what I have enough of to start a new cat.

You could make a separate section on your link list just for gay. 2 link recip would go to the index or main page for the gay categories and second to the category page. That way gay surfers don't have to be bothered by all that ugly pussy n such :D

Maybe a fetish category would work well for that kind of sites.

I know a few gay lists ask that there be more galleries/images than the norm. Whats the consensus on that?

That's a new one for me...of course it's been awhile since I've built, and submitted free sites.

Personally, I don't see why they would need more just because it's a gay site.
