Free site galleries

Quick question..does it matter if both galleries are the exact same layout or is it OK to have two different as long as the color/theme stays the same?

They don't have to look exactly the same as far as I know.

Agree with Fonz, but they have to flow with the site, share the design, color etc...

Yeah I thought that, just wanted to make sure. Same color scheme and theme as the site itself. Check!

IMO - making them identical just makes it simpler for the surfer to skim by your adds and just grab the content. By changing them up a little, you can not only make the site moire interesting, you can also make the surfer stop and look at the page - and hopefully, read an add or two.

Maybe that's why about 30% of my Freesite sales come from my gallery pages - I like to think these are additional sales from what I would get if all I had to rely on were first page and main page sales.

The only time both my galleries are both the same is if I'm feeling lazy.

That said - site structure should be maintained - the surfer shouldn't think they are suddenly and unexpectedly on a different site.
