Spankbuxxx switches from NATS to CCBill today

Heads up for any Spankbuxxx affiliates who didn't get this email.

Mon, April 6, 2009 5:00 am (I just got the email today). Basically:

All sales generated as from this point on through CCbill will be paid directly by CCbill. This means that as from now any New sales you generate will be paid from CCBILL. You must though Re - Join our program and change ALL linking codes if you wish to continue promoting our program.

Your Current NATS linking codes no long track traffic or credit sales.

Huh, odd, usually sponsors go from CCBill to NATS, not the other way around. Could it be that someone has finally seen the light and realised NATS is an overpriced piece of shit? :D

Even if it is, is it worth putting your affiliates thru all these hoops? How many are just gonna pull the links (that they can find) and just say fuck it?

There's a right way & a wrong way to go to NATS or to leave NATS & this is very obviously the WRONG way.

agree.

The program should find a way to make the old linkcodes track.

I doubt you'll see that happen with this sponsor. I spent a lot of time trying to get them to understand the concept of "leak-proof" tours last year and their basic position was that they had no intention of removing the links to their blogs on the bottom of their affiliate tour pages and too bad that those blogs are full of links to places which are nothing but leaks for your traffic to disappear into.

I really wanted to promote them but I won't send traffic to a program that doesn't even seem to understand that affiliate traffic needs tour pages without leaks.

I just checked one of their tours and the leaks are all still there.

Too bad.

Lol I remember doing the same thing. I wanted to promote them but they had those leaky tours, plus (at the time) the links to their 'other sites in their network' carried their NATS code instead of mine. They blamed it on a 'coding error' but after a few weeks I just moved on.
