Pissing.com (KinkyDollars site) no longer will be updated
 

I haven't seen any email about this, but here's the notice on the website.

We are sad to say that as of April 21st, 2009, Pissing.com will no longer be updated with new content. All of the existing shoots in Pissing.com's archive will remain accessible to the site's members. If you have an outstanding subscription to Pissing.com you may be eligible to transfer your subscription to another site, or receive a credit towards KinkOnDemand.com. I really don't want to be sending traffic to that page right now. There are ways to write something similar that's not so sure to kill any chance a new visitor will sign up, and the text on that page is not an example of how to do it.

With that domain name that sounds like a complete waste. Any idea about the reason? Interesting they're producing content for a new site and not updating that one.

I've never understood the pissing fetish but I don't understand many of the fetishes.

On one of the shoots that I filmed recently one of the models tried pissing on the other model which resulted in the model puking all over the place including the pissing model which resulted in me having to run and puke.

I agree with you Simon, why not just not say anything and let the existing subscribers know via an email. That way if a new surfer were to get to the site they'd still have reason to join. But that would make way too much sense. |banghead|

It seems like it's going to be like their Water Bondage site, which only offers 1-month, non-recurring memberships since it's not updated any longer either (very old news on that one, it's been that way since April 2008).

My suggestion on promoting either of those two sites is to send the surfer to the Kink-on-Demand page for that site instead of the updates tour.

It's a shame that Kink.com have done this the wrong way. Have you emailed them Simon and asked them to change it?

We've exchanged some emails and there should be a newsletter to affiliates coming soon (their mailing system was down for awhile). I'm certainly hoping they'll change how they're announcing that on the website based on my input about it.

Pissing is a pretty new site with only one year of content, unlike Water Bondage which had about five years of content in the archive when they ceased updates in April 2008, so it's not going to be the same kind of selling platform in my opinion. I really think Water Bondage could be sold as a recurring membership with the amount of content that's there, but I think a 1-month membership is about all they can expect on the more limited archive at Pissing.

My suggestion earlier about promoting those two sites using links targeting the Kink-on-Demand theater pages for those two sites was based on trying to get more income from a signup than you can get from a 1-month, non-recurring signup direct to the paysite. But that's going to need some months of testing before I could say which way will really be better. On the other hand, it really is the only way to send any watersports traffic to them as long as that big sad announcement is at the top of the paysite tour pages.

Any chance of getting a copy of that porn blooper? :P

But did you get it all video taped? That's what pissing / puking enthusiasts want to know!
