Poorly Formed HTML Mail From Sponsors
Does anyone find that HTML mail from sponsors is poorly formed and results in garbage when you try and read it? I use the web-based e-mail program RoundCube that comes with my hosting plan and I find that a lot of HTML mail I receive is unreadable. Stuff generated from NATS and CCBill it seems. Is it my mail program or do Outlook and Thunderbird users have the same issue? Just wondering what your experience is.

A common thing that a lot of virus/spam scanners do is 'defang' mime enclosures so they aren't automatically run in the preview pane of outlook/whatever. Regrettably, this makes a lot of emails look rather odd.

Any sponsor that sends me newsletters that only contain a text/html part, well, their stuff goes straight to the bitbucket without me ever seeing it.
(Also a note to everyone that ever e-mails me, either send plain text, or make damn sure there's a plain text representation of your message in the mail or it won't be read). |
I know CCBill emails to affiliates have to be formatted or it just runs together and looks like jibberish

I use ccbill's because it allows me to include the affiliate's code in the email. but I use minimal formatting... |
