Hosted .FLVs
 

Let's be clear here: I'm not looking for embeddable .SWFs. *I don't need/want your player.* I want to be able to easily access the URL to the hosted .flv and a representative image/thumb. (I'll host the image.) A delimited is list is ok, but I REALLY prefer to be able to preview the movie within the sponsor's admin. That way, I can check the length, load speed, and see if your description is bollocks or actually appropriate to the vid.

NS Cash has the best system I've seen, at least for my needs. |thumb

What does "Hide Trials" mean and why does my payout increase by $10 if I say yes, and why does that make me feel dirty?

Also, what's the purpose of offering 2 and 3 minutes options in the dropdown box when you only have 1 minute vids?

Some affiliates choose not to use trials. Some sites make more money with revenue share without trials. For PPS we pay an extra $10 if you promote without trials as we both earn more. Nothing dirty, it is just an option. Some affiliates do not want trials at all. It is a fact that some sites even convert better without trials.

We planned 2, 3 minutes but than we did not put on Sextronix, offered only at our other programs. Shortly we forget that, techs are removing now, sorry and thanks for heads up.

It's a slow process, plus I haven't much to do until the Fall semester. I'm only working on things that can make a direct profit, unlike reviewing. I'm increasing the the size/usability of the flagship, as well as adding more sites with hopes of increasing the value of my little empire.

Yes, that's "How I Got Rich" listed by Walrus, you silly girl. It's a shame that their export file sucks so much. No options -- just a big-ass .csv with more info than I need and not in the correct order. I don't have time for amateur nonsense like that. I'm a very important person, goddamn it!

BTW, after praising NS Cash in my initial post, their export system produces nothing more than ERROR: NO HOSTED FLVS FOUND when I click the Download Results button. Could be me, but I've tried all kinds of different options and get the same thing. A good affiliate would contact them directly about this issue. I am not a good affiliate.

Haven't tried the csv you mentioned by Dirty D's, but if you have excel, it should be fairly easy to delete columns you don't need and change the order of columns?

I have OpenOffice.org, and I'm sure that if I wanted to screw around with Dirty D's .csv I could get things deleted and moved around. But I don't have to, so I won't. 95% of the sponsors who offer hosted .flv files have a script that allows you to choose which information you need, the order in which you want it, and what to delimit it all with. In my case, I need .flv url | thumb url | description. (minus the spaces around the pipes) If I can't get it my way, it's not worth my time. I'm a rock star.

TCG have nice vid content and Spunky Cash also have a tube plugin , but they have all their vids in a csv file format.

Spunky's dump file isn't that bad. (example) It would be a lot better if they paid someone $5 to create an export script with selection boxes so you could choose what you need and where you need it, but if one is only adding a couple of vids manually, their dump is acceptable.

I've searched TCG and I can only find their embeddable .SWFs.
