Woke up this morning to two emails from wegcash with complaints about me spamming their program!

They sent me copies of emails they had received, these were parts of the accepted/rejection email I send out when a site gets reviewed.

Obviously someone got rejected and decided to use a couple of yahoo accounts (nicely untraceable) and cut out the bits about their site being declined and left in the bits at the end to make the emails look like I was sending out general spam.

And people wonder why link list owners stopped sending out confirmation emails with shit like this happening!

See if you can get hold of the original Yahoo! emails they sent out.

There should be the Originating IP in the header of those emails.

If your "mother fu*ckers" have been sloppy, then maybe you'll have some evidence from that.

What did WEGcash have to say after you explained the situation to them?

There should be like an honestly probing before anyone is allowed to enter this business, jam them with some special syrum, and if they lie, they can never be in the business, wouldnt that be tasty :)

Actually ExtremeJohn the logistics of administering truth serum would make it unfeasible.

I think the way to go is to force anyone looking to get into the business to go to a testing page, This page would play a flash presentation that by using flashing transitions and looped techno music causes the visitor to go into hypnotic epileptic seizure. While under hypnotic control the individual is forced to truthfully make one of two choices. 1 "I will be an honest webmaster." or 2 "I will be a cheating uberdumbass." If number 1 is selected the individual is welcomed into the industry. If number 2 is selected a second flash presention implants a hypnotic suggestion that forces the individual to never touch a computer again, and explains the merits of a career in fast food.

Now if I could just figure how to do mind control using flash I could retire as ruler of the world. Either that or I'd get sued by acacia for copyright infringment.

Yeah, allowing only honest plp in would be great, the one thing that has really "surprised" me the most about this business is WHAT people will lie over.

I have been told so many lies by people, that in the grand scheme of things it would not matter one way or another if they had just told the truth, but they choose to lie over it.

Never understood that mentality. If you fucked up, say so, don't try and cover your ass, it will all come out someday and then what are you going to do? Lie to cover your ass?

And if I get letter's from free emails that I can not trace or know who sent it bitching, I just ignore it. I got 2 or 3 last year threatening me and whatever, if they are too much a coward to sign it, then fuckem.

I would be surprised any affiliate would listen to an email like that from a free account.

Well this comes as no surprise, the ip address of the email originates from..... the land of the crappy sponsor hosted free sites that most link list owners are bombarded with, the Russian Federation.

As for wegcash, well I've not heard anything since their initial email so its a case of wait and see with them.

And because there's very little chance of someone in Liverpool having access to Russian ISPs, I am sure Wegcash will give you another chance.

Well after reading my explanation and looking at the original email I send out when sites are reviewed compared to the modified one they had received as a complaint, wegcash are taking no further action. :)

Kudos to wegcash in the first instance for not just jumping in and closing my account.
