I let it update itself on one domain and so far so good.

Is it a full blown version or are they still in beta? Last time I heard, they were on beta.

Nope, its full blown. The reminder is coming up on all my blogs dashboards. 2.71 is gone from the wp.org front page, and 2.8 is there instead.

And why didn`t appear to dashboard new version? Should i make the update manually ? omg

My auto-update attempts(2) didn't work. I'll try again tomorrow.

Here's one problem I found so far. If you use "wp-marketer", it screws up the widgets section so it wont work, AND the wp-marketer link cloaking gives you a 404 instead of a nice redirect to the sponsor. Hopefully wp-marketer will get it fixed because its a pretty slick little tool.

I like the new Themes section in WP 2.8. Still the best one for blogging and as a CMS.
