Has anybody had any success going to the local strip club to recruit models for photo/video shoots? It would only be solo shoots, no hardcore at this point.
I had a site about 4-5 years ago and used content providers, but I had a hard time finding quality content.
I have thought about going to the clubs and approaching the girls, but would like to get some advice before I do this.

I have had SOME success recruiting from strip clubs. Dancers are flaky at best...not all...but most. If you get 5 girls to say yes.. only 1 will actually follow through and show up.
Some tips on going this route...
1) be honest about what your are doing.
2) don't go during the busy times ie (weekends, busy nights)
3) have a website to show them you are serious...use content you bought that is close to the style you are going to do.
4)have a biz card, writing info down on cocktail napkins just looks amateurish.
5) Be nice. Not Creepy. If a girl isn't interested thank her and ask if she knows any of the others who may be interested. If you act like a DICK, she will definitely go and blab it to all the other girls.
6) BE PROFESSIONAL. Yes they take their clothes off for money...but never treat them like shit.

some good advices Craven Morras! personaly i think it`s a lame and rude idea to "knock on the doors" are ask girls if they wanna became a pornstar. It`s like paper boy when came to each house on the street and ask people to buy from him the newspaper. If i want to buy the shit , i will go to the store , or else , i would not buy it.

I wonder if they would let you set up a booth at the local college carreer day looking for girls to model naked for your website. You could say its your contribution to the stimulus program.

My plan is for solo photo shoots only, no hardcore. If I were to actually go to an establishment and ask the girls, I would be sure to give the club some acknowledgment on the website.
If the girls are already getting naked in the clubs, I figure they shouldn't have much of a problem doing a photo shoot.
Most of the clubs in my area have websites with a picture of their dancers anyway.

You probably could set up a booth nate. You could probably get a few girls agree to do a shoot before you get kicked off the campus.

A strip club is obviously a place to check... but pretty girls who strip can make $500 a night and NOT be online naked forever, so it's lot tougher sell there than you may think.

$500 a night dancing is a lot different than doing a photo or video set for the web. There are no sweaty, nasty, fat slobs who want to paw, grope and grind on them. Believe me you will find girls that will be eager to shoot solo scenes. FYI, it shouldn't cost you $500 for a solo scene... even in California models don't get that much.

Colleges?? Maybe not a booth but get one from the local colleges and pay her a finders fee she will bring you more... as long as you are professional and treat them right.

I tried contacting girls through craigslist, but I kept getting these bull shit automatic replies from them wanting me to go to their website to look at their pictures. I replied to about a dozen ads and they were all auto replies.
Maybe I was looking in the wrong section.

You'll have more luck with Craigslist or some of the agency links that have been posted here than you will ever do at the strip clubs unless you personally know a dancer or two from away from the clubs.

Strippers hear someone wanting to "just do pictures" or "build them a website" on a regular basis. You may find one or two who really need money (and these typically wouldn't be the ones you want to shoot) or a few who may say they have a manager and for you to contact them (usually a boyfriend or husband). But count on the interest as being minimum and probably a waste of investment as you are going to have to tip well just to get them to even listen to your pitch.

Keep in mind, you are bothering them while they are at work.

If you have an in, know a dancer, bouncer, DJ or club owner, then your odds are better but your still better off not trying to do it at the club.

Create your own ad, not respond to the ones posted.

The only time ive had luck at the strip clubs, its been when ive know the owner.

You could try going to events like Nudes a Poppin, which was held in Indiana this past weekend. There's lots of porn and amateur talent eager to pose for cameras.

This image of dingy strip clubs full of fat ugly drooling perverts doesn't reflect the majority of clubs with girls worth shooting. Outside of Rhode Island down the east coast you can't even touch a girls ass at the better clubs. These girls sit around drinking and do light friction "VIP" dances. They chat, they make rich male friends. They get invited to parties and clubs. And they're mom doesn't see it.

So basically I'm calling shenanigans. I've never come across these clubs full of hot exotic dancers who are "Eager to do solo scenes". For a myriad of reasons.
