Good article Jay. Even if they succeed in getting him off the air, the satellite channels will be salivating(sp?) to give him a contract. Stern will leave when he wants to leave.

I always enjoy your point of Jay. I agree totally with your article. I don't enjoy Stern in the morning but there' plenty of other radio stations to listen to and I do enjoy him at times.

I hate the entire concept of "We don't to hear or see something so it should be banned". Isn't that why the Pilgrims came to this country to avoid?

It's the same old BS. It's an election year so every friggin politician from both parties are going after anything and everything. There was an article on Yahoo this morning about them coming after porn slingers again like they do every single election year. These guys from clear channel are just trying to make themselves look good, Howard will never go off the air, he will always find another avenue.

When you think about the revenue his show brings in for advertising, the money in appearances, syndication etc, taking Howard off the air would affect A TON of radio stations and put a lot of people out of work, I think they government knows they, he is powerhouse and wont go anywhere.
