Cheating fuckers

Get this so I get some tranny paysite email to my inbox. I click the remove me link and it takes me to a form that shows an input box to entire my email address to remove right?

So I think, let me view the source (here is the page http://allnitebabezzxnow.com/nomo/)

It says remove on the outside but they are using that Subscribe Me Pro, you can spot that optin script anywhere and this is what the source says.

What a bunch of scamming fucks, taking opt-out emails and making them subscribes. They better hope they are just using that for email collection and are comparing that against their list so that people really are removed. Its stuff like this that is killing this industry.

Yeah I never try to use the remove function just for this reason. I just hit the add to junk filter in my e-mail program and move on.

Yeah I just installed CloudMark Spamnet to see if that will help out with all this shit I get daily :)

I just hate cheating pricks like that.

I see that crap all the time. And it really does give real opt-in email programs a bad name. Funny, almost everytime I watch TechTV, they tell you that most times the only thing the remove link does is give the spammer acknowledgment that it is truly a real person's email address.

But, when an honorable program or webmaster resource site gives you a remove link, I never worry about clicking remove.

I do the same as Cleo...
Just setup a filter so it just goes into the trash.

The mail program that I use has bayesian filtering built in and it works pretty well, but some still get through. Some days I get 3000+ bits of junk mail and viruses. |angry|

Well the US Governement just passed a bill that forces ALL spam to have an Opt Out link. The bill is unclear that the link has to work and even if you do Opt Out there's nothing that says the email address cannot be sold.

It seems the bill makes spam more profitable so expect to see a lot more of this crap.

It's a never ending cycle. I even get spam on my cell phone email addy and I have never given it to anyone. Hell, I don't even use it. It's real nice getting email notifications at 3 in the morning on my cell phone. |swear|
