New tgp owner needs help with submissions
 

Hello everyone. I have made a TGP and for the life of me i cannot get any submissions. I added alot of FHG's just so i would have soething on the page but I have not gotten 1 submission. I checked my script to make sure it was working and i have submitted my tgp to those free tgp submission sites. I just dont know what else to do. my url is www.dogzinatub.com

I see your TGP.

Immediately a few things come to mind.

1. Why do you care if anyone ever submits there.
2. How much traffic do you have there.
3. If answer to 2 is not sufficient nobody will ever care enough to satisfy 1.
4. Are you as concerned about increasing your traffic?
5. If yes to 4 see 1

Traffic will earn you money, new TGP's are churn and burn. Sadly I looked at your TGP it's nothing special.

NOW. Remember this was brutal honesty and it may sting a little, but the point is you need to get your priorities together. If you get the traffic at that site together people will stand in line to give you submissions. In fact you will get so many that you see the light of 1.

But if you managed to read through my wall of text i will give you a bone. Trade submission page links on other tgps, that helps sometimes and those links usually go up faster than submission services will list you.

No thats what i wanted was brutal honesty because I want to be atleast somewhat successful at this. I wanted submissions because I thought it would get me some more traffic. Im desperately in need of traffic also but i just wasnt sure how to get it besides paying

Do with this what you will,
1. Concentrate on removing any traffic leaks from your site
2. Deliver the content as high to the top of the fold as possible
3. Consider converting to thumbs ( the traffic is easier to get )
4. Update daily ( doesnt matter if they are sponsor galleries, you do it for the bookmarkers )
5. Look for new trades daily and kill ones that are not working out

Follow these fundamentals and in a few months you may have something to work with. Expect nothing but heartbreak trying to start a TGP from 0 for a long while. Most people just give up it's not the most forgiving part of the industry by any means. Its easier to loose traffic at a TGP than gain it.

It's wise to at least dabble in other things as well free sites, blogs, etc. Use any vehicle possible in order to feed a few free hits to yourself. Look on the bright side you have nowhere to go but up.

Yea actually started making some galleries and hand submitting them to other tgp's of coarse the galleries had a recip to my tgp. Ive been doing some link trades also but still no traffic coming in yet. I probably just havnt given it enough time yet

I'd be hesitant to post to your TGP because my gallery would get lost in in the FHGs. Before I deleted my hybrid fhg/real TGP, I had it set up so real posts came up first, then FHGs. After 6 months of it being utterly ignored, I rebooted the whole site and made it 100% fake fed by a few RSS feeds on wordpress. Now sponsors submit galleries every day, and google loves it. are all the galleries on that site from one sponsor?
if they are, i would STRONGLY suggest that you get some variety on there..

as Shemp stated... Variety is the spice of life.

im starting to get a couple of submits so i actually just removed the FHG's.

I think you have just taken a step backwards, your FHG's made it appear you had content. Surfers may have bookmarked, now your site looks like one big ad with a toplist.

Imagine wanting a candy bar you take one wrapper off only to find another you take that one off to find another you take that one off to find another finally you get to the candy and its just a tiny mint.

This imaginary candy bar is now what your tgp is to the surfer |scared|

ok i pretty much got rid of that tgp and started a new one with better script http://heavenspleasurepalace.com/tgp/ . I am getting plenty of submits now but I am working on traffic. Im not making any money at all though. Not one cent. Ive actually always had that problem in this business i could never make any money and was even when i was submitting galleries. I tried my hand at this stuff a couple of times a couple years ago with no luck. I actually like doing it though so thats why i keep giving it a try.
