How many of your $1.00 trials convert to full memberships?
I know it depends on the sponsor, content, etc...but anyone have an averge number they have noticed? 25%? 75%. I know it's probably hard to track on PPS, but still I'd be curious to know what it might be...

If it's PPS, why would you care?

I know I've thrown traffic at a few of those $100 sponsor promos, and some of them show conversion from trial(epoch?) which I may use as a base for trying revshare |

Ohhhh - ok. I've never promoted $1 on revshare (just PPS)

You can't really judge revshare conversions based on $1 trial conversion rates unless you intend to continue promoting the site on revshare using $1 trials.
What I'm saying is that the surfer that will initially signup to a $1 trial is probably not the same surfer that will initially join for a full month. The only true test is to run some revshare for a few months then analyze your numbers. |
There is ZERO programs on the internet that can say honestly that trial to monthly converts at 50%.
PPS is probably 50/50 on whether you make more money on. I just checked Stats Remote and was surprised to see some decent Money Per Sale Stars. 1 Program I've made $630 off 1 sale, LOL. Programs only offer PPS to get more webmasters and they make their money back on cross sells and member areas up sells, nothing that YOU actually make money on. |

==== Luscious: there's no hard and fast rule, some $1 sites will sell like hot cakes but not rebill, some will sell slowly but rebill like billyo. May be check inside the Member's Area - see if you would stay a member. $ per click will give you the correct answer in the long run - but it will be three to six to twelve months before you have any decent numbers. |
Personally for me sponsors with 1$ trials don't convert well on revshare. So at the end i use PPS and don't care about their convert to full memberships anymore.

Go to Rabbit's Reviews and search for the site(s) you are curious about, then scroll to the bottom of the reviews. Rabbit allows user comments and they can give you a pretty good insight, especially with trial memberships. Disgruntled members are more than happy to report back if a trial membership is really limited or shitty, or if going for a full membership isn't worth it. Presume that the really good user reviews are by site owners/employees and that some of the really bad reviews are from cheap fucks who can't be pleased. The truth is somewhere in the middle. There's usually a user score in the right column of the review too, which will almost always be way below the reviewer's score.
Actually, I've discovered that Rabbit's is a nifty tool for any webmaster promoting revshare sites, trial or not, because you can see approximately how much content the site has, its quality, and other measures by which you can conclude whether or not the site will retain members. You'd be shocked by the amount of revshare sites which don't have fuck-all for content, but want $30 to join. (And we wonder why surfers feel burned and will settle for low-quality tube vids.) |
