Blocking Pop-Up Blockers?
Anyone know of a way to do it? I don't care if it works for every browser out there, but one that would work for IE would be great!

I doubt it is possible to block pop-up blockers, but you may want to try presenting your pop-up data in a more unconventional manner, maybe a javascript activated CSS overlay?
Something along these lines would probably not be caught by a pop-up blocker but still accomplishing your goal. |
LOL, you ask how to stop pop ups and the answer you get is how to bypass blockeers

LOL, actually, blocking pop-up blockers is what I want to do. I've never used pop-ups before but I do need to use one pop-up on a new project, and if the surfers can't see the pop-up the project is pretty much toast.
Also, this is a javascript pop-up if that helps. I thought I had read something here about how to do it, but I can't find it. |
What you might consider is jquery with an intermodal window. I believe dialog is the one you want. The advantage here is that it isn't a popup, and you can even dim the active screen to get an active click to get rid of it before proceeding. You can also have it pop a box on the screen without it taking the ability to still navigate the page.
