any thoughts on this plugin? I recently started using it, and it is useful, but I'm not too fond of the link it puts in the post.

Haven't used it myself, but I had a quick look at the plugin and you can quickly remove the credit link by adding // at the beginning of line 226 in BTE_OPP_Core.php to comment out the backlink.

Are you sure there's no "give credit" option on the admin page? It seems to be checking the value of "give credit" in the code.

I looked at it before but I think the thing that kept me from using it was the lack of control over what it would repost and what it wouldn't. I wanted to be able to repost content either only from before a certain date or only after a certain date and I couldn't figure out how to get it to do that. I agree about the link in every post being overkill and bad for the blog owner so crediting them another way was what I was going to do too.

There is, and I had overlooked this when I installed it...
