Question on LL accepting legal tube sites
 

Since it's pretty obvious that tube sites are getting the majority of the traffic these days, who here with link lists has openned up a category to accept the legit tube sites?

If no one has, do you think it might be a decent way (yes, I know there's tube sites with sick content on them, and it would be hard to monitor the submits given the dynamic nature of these sites) to bring in more traffic/exposure to a LL?

Any thaughts/opinions are welcome.

Sounds interesting. Not so different from accepting tgps, really.

I havent and probably wont. I dont accept TGP's to be listed so I have no reason to accept Tubes just 'cause they are the new thing

Hi Jester. I was thinking about the possible increase in traffic which leads to what we all want...sales. And not to mention a way to atleast merge two worlds, instead of trying to fight one.

No, I'm not all for the tube sites either, I'm still in the frame of mind of how things used to be, not running after the latest fads.

Tube sites only make the surfer that much more prone to give the finger to any of us here owning LL, TGPs or whatever and get that instant porn fix...without clicking that extra step to get what they're after.

Just a thaught I've been toying with.

Are you sure that traffic will bring sales?

Not the best idea, because tubes offer a vastly better surfing experience so the linklists would be on the losing end of that deal.

LB - Good point you raised. I added in the cat. and am going to test it out. I've got a feeling it most likely won't make much of a difference, but maybe?

As for the extra traffic = sales? (my sales took a dump anyways) I know people aren't going to look at my LL and think that this is the holy grail of porn link sites just because I added that category. But I can at least use the opportunity to push my sponsors while surfers are clicking through that tube listing page.

I'm already thinking about putting my own tube site on a separate domain to use my sponsors content only...but no user uploads.

Testing phase that may lead nowheres. Time will tell.

I'm accepting sometimes tgp and blogs and i could even accept tube sites, but they need to be really very very very special and with very unique content. Example: I'm listing a tgp that has balloon fetish only, or trampling fetish or midgets... but I wouldn't list one that has hardcore or lesbian or bondage. There are thousands like them around. Nobody need my site to find one. There's no value in that content for my site.

I love to list stuff people can't find everywhere. Similar sites are a valuable resource for my surfers, and I think it's a good thing to offer good links : )

Very true! Sad thing about this is that I've gotten no submits for tube sites showing up...yet. I'm sure tube owners are thinking, "Why the hell should I want a listing at a LL when I've already got more traffic?"

But oh well, worth a shot, right?
