Don't take this the wrong way, but you're saying you were hired by this company to help sell content & you have no idea how to do that & need to ask for tips?

I am sitting here wondering if this is truly spam or not. If it is spam, it is genious... If it isn't, why would a company hire that knew nothing about marketing?
