Can we do something about SVZ?

Who ever this is signed up in August and has 12 posts all of which contain 10-25 referral code links to sponsors. That's all they are offering. Nothing more. I don't think the board needs a troll like that.

I was thinking of starting a poll today to see who else thought banning SVZ would be a good idea. But since you already started this thread I'll just put my vote here.

[√] YES, ban that fucker today.

:)

If you don't want to read someone's posts, you should just add them to your ignore list.

Of course, NYJ can't read that if you're already on his ignore list! |couch|

Really? Is that how that works? I know that already IG. The problem lies with the fact that any and all threads that ask for a sponsor or a recommendation is then bombarded with a post of at least a dozen aff codes from SVZ. That is all he/she brings to this board is to spam his aff codes. Nothing else. Thats not what this community is about in case you haven't gathered that yet. Do we give replies with aff codes? Yes, but we don't spam bomb the replies. |banghead|

I'm not the only one having issue with it.

How have a failed to even see these posts? |huh| My eyes must be filtering his posts already.

I hear where you're all coming from, but I have to admit, the 1st time I saw one of their posts, I kicked myself for not thinking of it myself. It really is a cool marketing technique, except for the lack of a decent board reputation.

People ask for niche sponsors & they post a list. Technically, they are not doing anything wrong or against the board rules, so just ignore them if you don't like them.

Maybe It's One Of Greenies Alias's ?

Might be worth considering a rule that a new board member with no reputation at all has to have at least a few posts that are of value before they're allowed to just post affiliate links over and over. Not my board or my rules, of course, just suggesting that as a way to keep this board different from so many others (and by different I mean better).

:)

P.S. When I first posted in this thread I thought SVZ was a different person who was also doing this, along with trashing one of the board members in another thread and most recently trashing the board itself in a new member's intro thread. So please do apply my vote to both of them.

I wonder if camel works for them...

I've never even noticed their posts until I went looking for them after reading this thread.

Maybe someone could pay them a visit and stick some pickles up their butt.
