Handing over the reigns questions
 

Evening all -
Over the next few months, and for the past few months, my son has been taking over a lot of what I have been doing. (link checking, removing links etc)
I haven't submitted a free site for quite a few months, but I have some questions I would like answered.

Submitting a new free site -
1 - He will be using templates, ads, layouts, that I have already made. (no pop ups etc)
2 - My link codes ie, dareutwo. (I"ll still control the check book)
3 - I have places I can count on to get listed (yeah, besides me lol)
4 - I can guarantee the templates, but I more than likely won't review each and every site. I just don't have time.
5 - the sites will be submitted from a different IP from mine.
(though any mistake emails will still come to me)

LL owners - your thoughts here please???

I have spent nearly 5 years working in this biz, I don't want to have him start all over from scratch.

He has done some coding work in the past for 3x links (tgp), and a few others. So he isn't a complete newbie - he's actually working on a complete database rewrite and script for me.

I will still be reviewing Mark's and Jay's for a long, long time to come, so don't worry about that part.

I just got sick (actually physically ill, sitting here for a year) and found something not online that I really like to do as well.

Just need some guidance here, this is new one for me.

I knew I would forget the most important point!!
So have him submit "As Me" ie...
with my email (of course so I can monitor) or have him submit with his email?

Oh, his name is Evan, he's 18, this is his college fund money.
Way more of a programmer than I'll ever be, but it was fun to get FREE programming when needed :) (oh wait, I had to feed and house him for 18 years...)

Will have His domain url's in a couple days... he's still working on those.

Meaning there will be more domains than I already submit under.

Just have him mention who he is in the comments field. ;)

I'm sure that if you taught him the business there will not be any problems with his stuff.

I would have him use his nick and e-mail so that we will get to know him, but a note in the comments filed would be good so that no one wonders why there is more then one submitter with the same link codes.

If you can set him up with an email @markslinks.com I think that would go a long way for him with every link site out there including the ones that do not read this board.

Well have him post to my sites too and I will make sure you/he will get approved :)

if you would considder letting him post to my LL to he'll have a 100% go! :)

I'll keep an eye out for that kilroy's-tattoos email address too. :D
