That's possible, there's another tool out there, it was mentioned on OTB but I don't remember the name.

After being at OTB today, I did a litle research with a link Emmy shared with us (same one you posted sheepy).

The ones with a "?" are ccbill, and wouldn't run through, so no data for those.

I can see I'm going to start moving around who I'm pushing the most, and quite possibly dropping a few.

I can see i will be doing the same we work hard to push sponsors at least they could give better cookie life . i been going through my list as well and will be hunting for new sponsors to replace the ones that give me 0 days .Im in this to make money not to give my sales away. Ihave to say thumbs up to the sponsors that give great cookie life to us.

Yeah no cookie life is just another way to keep the type in traffic as well as bookmarkers who come back when the timing to surf porn is "better"

Take into consideration that most people live paycheck to paycheck.

If they hit one of your links in the middle of a pay period, and don't have the money right then to buy, but come back later, you're SOL for your commission money for sending them there in the first place.

I wrote that tool and it does in fact have some issues with CCbill links, mostly because CCBill link codes tend to get mangled if you apply proper web standards to its encoding and such. Will fix this some time soon when I have some time :)

It saves me a little time and if I come across any sponsors not already listed, I'll add them to those you have already shown on this thread.

Kudos to nymph and Twice for posting! I think we all need to e-mail our sponsors that are on those lists and ask WTF and why?

I'll fix up the tool sooner or later (heh... no time no time arrrrghhh) and have it generate lists like the one above for easy viewing :D At least, once I get around to sorting out all the URL's. People have been busy with it and it's got a shitload of URLs to check every day :D

Please keep in mind that promoting programs like Evidence Eliminator (and others) can also lead to lower commission on other sponsors, since anyone who buys those products will now have a tool which deletes all their cookies for them automatically. So it can hurt not only the original webmaster who made the sale for Evidence Eliminator, but every other webmaster whose site is later surfed by the EE user. All webmasters really should boycott any and all products which wipe out the cookies stored in a surfer's browser. The only people helped by these products are all the sponsors who don't have to pay any affiliate commissions once someone is using any of the automatic cookie killers.

What would be considered resonable? 30 days? 2 weeks? At what point are you getting screwed?

Ideally a cookie should never expire, LD... anything shorter than that, someone is taking your traffic and refusing to pay you for the surfer you originally sent to them. We used to use 255 days since that was the max CCBill could do. Otherwise I'd have set it to never expire. Why wouldn't I want to pay the original affiliate? Seriously, that's the question some sponsors answer the wrong fucking way.
