Anybody else see huge crash in clicks to sponsors from Richards Realm premium?

Ever since Richards switched from text format to thumbs, the numbers of people clicking to sponsors from my richards galleries has plummeted.

I dont bother to count the visitors to the galleries themselves, but I have to think it's the same story.

It looks like every gallery I post is getting accepted - but clicks to sponsors from the galleries are dismal.

Anybody else see the same? I'm just curious.

Gonna have to cancel the account. Sales are just gone.

Bill--> misses the good old days of text tgps.

I think that the reason is what you stated in your first sentence..the switch to thumbs. I also notice there doesnt seem to be as many galleries listed each day per category as there used to be.

I may be old school, but I think RR has been around so long people were used to the format and may not be too happy with the new look. I myself liked the text version much much better.

I would check that first.

If your thumb is not eye catching enough the surfer blows right by it. Whereas a text link is more easily clicked purely out of curiosity.

With the format change there might be a loss of SE traffic for the moment as well.

Well, upon noticing the crash in to-sponsor clicks, a while back, I did a series of experiments with gallery designs using bigger better images as thumbnails, especially for movie galleries, counting the differences between clicks to sponsors on my older style galleries and the newer galleries (which take longer to make, needless to say).

No substantial increase in clicks to sponsor, irregardless of gallery style, as far as I could determine.

I made a series of new style galleries movie and pic for the new dogfart site, starting the first day it came out - the clicks to sponsor were terrible.

So, bigger thumbs, new sponsor, new content (tho typical dogfart) new gallery designs - still the crash in sponsor clicks continued.

Hah - I did a test lesbian pic gallery - not my fave niche, not necessarily a great sponsor - to do a richards test. 12 clicks to the sponsor. That's a lot of galleries to make a signup.

Anyway, for the moment I don't seem to be able to design my way out of this richards sponsor clicks crash.

I dont think its a personal design flaw in all honesty

That's a shame because I was just considering getting that partner account. Glad that I didn't pull the trigger to find out i've wasted some money.

They still have a textlink version with tons of listed galleries per day. So those who liked the older version better can still view it, but I guess most are using the thumbversion.

Well, you'd still have to do the test with your own galleries to know for sure.

There are plenty of niches there I don't test.

my sales from RR are gone as well. :(

I'm probably gonna let my RR expire if nothing happens in the last month I have left..
