Ask for it - and ISP screws it up
 

So I tell my ISP this morning before I left that my FTP connection is throttled (after trying some tests on 3 servers).

I get a call on the cell phone saying they re routed me to a different server in the CO. (like I could verify anything from 210 miles away)

Just get home, NO internet... and on hold for 25 minutes with tech support.

"Oh," she says, "it says way down here in notes that IP was changed"

Damn, I wish ISP's made porn sites - Tech support would take like a minute :)

I think all ISPs suck.

I have bellsouth, did I mention that I despise bellsouth?

My DSL has been going down for about an hour in the evening for the past week. |angry|

Oh yeah, they also like to change settings at their end without telling us. |pissleft|
