Anyone have the Google Earth Plug-in installed?

I've been playing around with the Google Earth browser widget maker.

I did a little test page using the KMZ file from today's bike ride. You need to have the plugin that is part of Google Earth to view it. It's pretty kewl as it basically buts Google Earth into a web page.

Not really sure what use it has other than for playing around. I guess you could make a widget that zoomed into where on earth your pornstar was getting boned. :D

"The Google Earth Plugin is currently only available on Windows and Mac OS X 10.4+."

I know, I am an (Linux) oddball. Got to turn on my XP PC, I guess.

Just 6 miles around my neighborhood. I'm using MotionX-GPS to map my rides.

I noticed yesterday that the Google Earth server went down a few times which resulted in getting a blank page. I guess that is why they mention that it is still beta.
