Xmas time

Does traffic seem to slow with free sites during Xmas season? I am seeing less traffic coming from my free sites.

I've noticed the same thing. Pretty sure it will pick back up a day or 2 after all the holiday cheer has wore off. I know my sign ups have kind of fallen short for now too. Should pick up soon afterwards.

My sales always pick up towards Christmas and it's happening again this year. I'm thinking a lot of guys buy themselves Christmas presents, sort of a Merry Christmas handjob ;)

Maybe daddy is testing out the kids new Xmas computer! |whisper| |boobies|

BTW, anybody noticing anything with googles new personalized search stuff(bookmarks). Traffic up/down.

Some of the mainstream boards are going crazy: |club|
- personalized search(SERPs all over the place)
- google DNS(more tracking ability)
- their terms also now say nobody under 18(no more homework for kids)

- permanent adwords account bans(no appeal & maybe related to their new affiliate network),

- their exec saying don't do anything that you don't want people finding out about

- strange countdown clock for English countries if you hit the "I'm Feeling Lucky" with no input data(Skynet is about to activate)

IF you build and submit on a daily basis you should actually see approx the same amount of traffic with an increase in sales. I've noticed an increase in $$ from free sites since the first of November this year.

I always seem to see an increase in conversions once people actually get on their vacations or extended days off around the holidays. xmas day generally is a down day for me... however the day after and then days before the new year things heat up a little.

we shall see how it goes this year.

I think it's just a general offline thing that happens around the holidays - I've noticed traffic & submits are usually down around this time of year.
