That is definitely pretty damn cool.

So the battery would last about 5 minutes I'm guessing.

That's pretty impressive.
I've been seeing another phone advertised that has a projector that snaps onto the back of the phone. I guess you could always get a Micro Projector and iPhone video cables to do this with the iPhone but it would be a lot more crap to carry around. Between the phones and tablet PCs coming out there is going to be a lot more options for watching stuff. |

The phone I showed 2.4 inch TFT LCD Touch-screen 240x320 pixels The iPhone 3.5-inch (diagonal) widescreen Multi-Touch display 480x320 pixels Now if they built in the virtual keyboard, why would I need to carry a notebook around all the time. Definitely starting to move towards a personal digital device! |

http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/keyboards-mice/8193 It shouldn't be long before the virtual keyboard gets built into the phone. Just add cloud computing, and we all get rid of the laptops. |
It was featured in "Attack The Show". According to the hosts, the projection function is cool, but otherwise, the camera part isn't really that good. It takes blurry photos and the quality isn't good. You're definitely paying for the projector and not for the camera overall.

Got to love the new tech stuff at CES.
|
It is still an amazing feature. I just hope they fine tune it some more.
