recording phone calls?

No idea where to post this so I figured here.

I need to record phone calls lasting up to 8 hours. Nothing sinister, it's for conference calls and everyone will know they are being recorded.

Any ideas?

Probably just stating the obvious here Sheepo, but I'm thinking the easiest way would be to use a VOIP provider like skype to call from your PC, along with http://voipcallrecording.com/ (for instance). You also might end up with lower charges in the process (depending on where you need to call).

I bought a simple device on eBay a while back. You install it between your phone and the wall jack. You then plug a mic cord from it into your PC, use your favourite recording software and presto! Do an search on "phone recording" and you'll see a number of them offered up. The one I am looking at is listed for $40.

Skype would be the easiest solution but you can use a device like this to record from a land line or cell phone.
