Do Picture galleries still make money

I recently started submitting to TGPs after finding adult webmasters school and started hearing that submitting galleries to TGPs seems sorta over saturated and a older way of making money and that movie galleries are the only way to make some money but I was hoping im wrong because i am currently doing picture galleries but was looking for someone that is experienced to tell me if you can still make money as a newbie with picture galleries or do I need to be doing something else such as movie galleries because picture galleries seem to be the thing of the past.

Sure picture galleries still make money, actually they're awesome to promote the videos that the sponsor has on his site: "Now click here to see the movies at Sponsorsite.com"

Yes they still make money, I use picture galleries for about 70% of my galleries.

I get sales from picture galleries. I have been told that movie galleries convert better, but for TGP's I can't say I've noticed a difference.

I submit 90% picture galleries. The ratios on the movie galleries seems the same.

I submit picture galleries daily and yes they still make money.

can someone please share some kind pf way to work? i mean, you have paysites and promote it using the gals? run some tgp too?

This is a tough time to step back fresh without any type of sites already in place and getting your traffic.

pictures + HD screens convert for us - 2 minute videos slightly less so in our case -

yes picture galleries still make sales. At the end of the day you are just trying to drive that visitor all excited to the tour and from the tour you want them to get that CC out.

Picture as well as Movie galleries are still converting, but I've made the best experiences with mixed galleries 12 pix + 1x1min embedded flash clip. Not all TGPs accept this kind of gallery but they give a very nice impression of the product. The visitor can watch a clip and see some thumbs at the same time, really worth the try :) .

Funny, I do this too but with 16 pix and a 1x1 min clip or 2x30 sec clips, I can get listed at most TGP's as a picture gallery, and the movies serve to sort-of underscore what the pictures are saying.

I really like mixed galleries. I would do them more but many of the places that I submit to still won't take them.

Most places that accept submits, whether they're TGP's or LL's need to get with the program and realise the year 2000 has come and gone already. The whole "no JS/no mixing/no this/no that" rules are outdated. if you want to compete with tubes where the clips flow freely at 30+ minutes, allow mixed submits. Allow us to use Google Analytics. Allow us to use JS to invoke some banners from our adservers. Allow the use of jQuery and MooTools to make the user experience better.
