The state of the industry?
 

Hello everyone I did the hub, free site, gallery submission thing a few years ago and I can imagine things have slowed down here a bit due to the state of the economy and the influx of new webmasters looking to make ends meet not to mention tube sites and the amount of free porn online these days.

Do you think it’s still viable for someone to now start-up in this business and be able to make ends meet doing blogs, free sites, hubs, and galleries if given the right amount of time and effort?

Oh yea are blogs now the big thing, or still the next big thing?

your output has to be about quadruple of years ago. It's still possible. To start today and make a decent amount next month... Not realistic. Building and going forward for sure.

The hard part is really staying on course.

Think of it like someone just getting started in real estate sales.
You can work for a month or two before you get your first sale.

The difference is that in real estate your first sale can make you a lot of money.

Hey thanks for the input, I am not expecting anything over night. I have a lot of work to do before I can even start on the free sites and things to get my main pages, and blogs ready I got a ton of old scripts laying around tgp, linkdumps, linkdirectory, etc. Do you think a goal of 1 sale a day on average in my 4th month is realistic?

Although someone once told me not to set goals so that I am not disappointed when I fail to meet them. :S
