New ideas as to what is generating traffic. I realise there is an economic meltdown every where. Bloggs seem to generate new traffic. but what else is working?? Traffic trades are bullshit.Hardlink trades the same. I realise tgps with zero skim are the best but WTF is really worth ones time?|crazy||waves||crazy|

The important thing is not what you do, but when you decide how to go, do whatever it is you do WELL. For example (and this is NOT intended as a criticism of you, I am simply using your post as an example), you say:

Honestly, I think there is still tons of traffic to be had for the seo guru. SE's love blogs, hence the traffic. However, I think if you become an seo expert - you can build sites that get plenty of traffic - to your blogs, galleries, free sites, etc...

The little bit I do get's some se traffic and it converts nicely. So I'm working "smarter" and learning with each site and gallery.

The only other thing I've been told to do is buy advertising. Haven't done that yet, as I don't think my sites would convert on that traffic "yet".

There are so many places to get traffic these days, it is silly. The question is getting convertible traffic and converting it, and that is a never ending process of the Scientific method.

Unlike many years ago, there are many, many sources of traffic. There is also more competition for it and more of that traffic is useless as much of the non-cc holding world is now on the net.

What i was trying to say before was Niche works for me and i agree f rom the previous posts it comes down to SEO I have had some success with the fetish sites.Just take a step back and look at the page you are submitting and would you sign up? there are so many pages out there tht look the same and what i said about johnny fucking mary still goes but when you put in there (nipple clamps) now there is a sub niche .IT WORKS. My 2 sons were in the other room and i am submitting their mates arrive and are telling them where to access FREE porn Great im not gonna get a fucking signup from them at all |catfight|
Its gonna take you some time with seo but as i said generating traffic is great but it is all about SIGNUPS and if you can do that without burning out your bandwidth that is what it is all about just don't submit sites for the hell of it THINK niche|kissass|

Quality above quantity and that`s not something many of these ideas provide. No sense in traffic that doesn`t convert.

My problem is i have great quality traffic and still convert 1/100 or better usually 1/20 or so, but it's not enough sales wise like it was 2 years ago, sales went down a good bit, and its impossible to get more of the traffic i have, trading it would be pointless since mine is better then what i would get back and my #'s are low anyway. I wish I could figure out a way to multiply what i do by 10 or so but it doesnt seem to work.

Was thinking of making some tgps even tho its kind of late for that and do trades there to get a lot of traffic going and then filter the good traffic into my sites that will further filter that traffic into the 1/20 ratio sales at my sponsors.

The traffic you cant convert, you can sell or trade it to someone that may be able to convert it.
