Can someone please help me??

I have just gotten my second rejection from GreenGuy's TGP. I went through my site after the first rejection and thought I had everything worked out. But now he is telling me I have blind links - even in my recipes. The recip table were taken directly from the other 4 TGPs I submitted to, and one of the TGP sites has aalready accepted my submission.

Someone please tell me what I am doing wrong.

It would be most helpful if you posted the url of the page in question.

You probably have links that do not have the sites name in them.

Even recips taken from the site can be blind. You need to edit them yourself to get listed.

Post a link to your rejected site. That's the best way to help you.

Yea, that was kind of stupid of me to not post the link. http://cableguysex.info

I had a link to my directory on the banner which I have taken off. And I had a link to a non porn affiliate on the No thanks I don't want porn link. I changed that too. It now points to my articles directory and states clearly that is where it goes.

would still like someone who knows more than me to take a look.

Thanks

sayouly - when you look at other "Free Sites" listed on Link Lists you should notice that those special-format, 4-page sites are almost always in directories a level or two (or more) away from the main root directory of the site. Usually you'll want to use the root index page of your site for hub building.

Also, I saw you mention where you send your "no thanks" traffic. Again, if you check the Free Sites listed on Link Lists you'll see many have no Exit link at all. Surfers can figure out how to leave all by themselves.

You also mentioned in the L-O-R rejection thread that having the recips at the top isn't good, and that surfers will go to the sites on those recips instead of entering your site. By now you may have noticed on those other Free Sites that the recips are rarely at the top of the page like on your page. The requirement is that they must be above the Enter link. Only galleries submitted to TGP/MGP sites use recips at the top of the page.

The BIGGEST problem your Free Site has though is that it does NOT sell the sponsor well at all. Banners and graphics will not do the selling for you. And having just one small, hard-to-read block text on one page isn't going to do it either. Your warning page does not sell at all, and your two galleries are just giving away pictures with no attempt at all to sell anything either.

The best thing you can do, if you want be in the Free Site game, is to learn how to sell well on a page. Study advertising and copywriting, and look at the full page ads -- particularly direct response ads -- in magazines and newspapers to see how layout can contribute (or detract) from the sales message.

I hope you don't take my tone as overly-critical. I really am trying to give you good feedback but I'm still on my first mug of coffee here.

Hey Simon, thanks for the feed back. I finally got the site listed today, but as you pointed out, I need to learn how to write up a site that will sell. I know that this particular site probably won't do me much good. My real goal was to get listed. Now that I know the basic layout, I can start looking at how to sell. Don't worry, I didn't take anything you said as overly-critical. I appreciate your advise and am determined to win at this game.

Thanks and have a nice day.

Since you have a Cable Guy Sex banner at the top of your index page, it's certain you did not register and use CableGuySex.info by mere coincidence. I'm not a lawyer and not offering any legal advice to you, but in my personal opinion, misusing a sponsor's trademarks is legitimate grounds for them to cancel your affiliate account and withhold all your commissions. If you haven't done so already, reading the SilverCash Terms is probably a good idea.

I didn't realize I was doing anything illegal, InfoGuy. But I will look into it for sure. You are right that I registered the domain because of the affiliate program, I also registered cableguysex.net, but there in nothing on the site yet.

I also own newhalfs.asia. I emailed the company that has Japanese New Half content and told them that I bought the domain so that I could promote their content and they were fine with it, so I don't know why SilverCash would have a problem. But, like I said I will check into it.

Thanks for the advice.

I emailed Silver cash about my use of cableguysex and they said they don't have a problem with it as long as am sending my traffic to them. So I'm okay.
