Still a bit hung over from a Mojito party that I went to Yesterday.
After I finish doing my daily routine behind the computer it's back to the easter soccer tournament.

It's always nice to see a morning thread while I'm still on my first mug of coffee.

Fonz - the Mojito is a old Cuban drink and used to be a favorite "it's hot, I'm outside" drink when I first moved to Key West. Make sure they use cane sugar and not some kind of sugar syrup. The taste is better and the hangover isn't as bad (at least that's the way I remember those days).

Yesterday's Easter dinner was mostly painless.

Other than that, it's work for me.

I tried to use my epass virtual visa card to make an online purchase a while ago and it was declined so I paid for it with another card and sent epass an email about the problem. With everything that has been going on I just got back to check the messages to find out why it was declined and this was the message they sent me back.

"In regards to your concern, please be informed that we have disabled ePpurchase capabilities for certain merchants (PAYPAL) that use ePassporte as a payment option. This may affect the transactions you normally make with your ePassporte Account. Please be informed that you cannot use or add your ePassporte Visa Virtual Card with Paypal. However, you may still use your Visa Virtual card to make purchases online with internet retailers that accept Visa or Visa Plus. "

That has got to be one of the dumbest moves I have ever seen as the majority of online sales are completed with paypal. Hell even if the seller does use visa or visa plus, the actual merchant behind the transaction is paypal in many cases.

I emailed epass back asking for the option to be reinstated but I suppose it will be a cold day in hell before that happens. That kind of makes epass useless to me as I used it to make all of my online payments |banghead|

I think I have a food hangover this morning. I ended up cooking 35 lbs of Prime Rib yesterday and swear ate 1/4 of it myself. :) I am bound up good...

It was a great weekend for weather, fun and family. Soso for work, lol. Work all day today for me.

Both kids are home today but as mid to late teens they pretty much look after themselves. I have a Costco run today. I got coupons in the mail which will save me $10+ dollars on most of my stuff which thrills me. The fact that having coupons and being thrilled is pretty pathetic if you ask me. After that it is on to work. I have to get my ass in gear as I've been too distracted the last while.

Remember, three days later he rose from the dead and chatted with with his peeps -- have a great Zombie Jesus day everyone!

Nothing like having an earthquake in the middle of dinner yesterday.

Mornig. Like justrobert mentioned we had a fun earthquake while eating Easter dinner. Not as fun for people in baja. For us though it was a roller that got things moving. Very little online time today. Got errands to run and then opening day for Angels baseball. :)
