How many places accept mp4 movies these days?
 

If you have a LL do you accept mp4 movie sites?

I've preferred mp4 movies for years but now with the iPhone, iPad, iWhatever using mp4 files makes more sense then ever since these devices don't play wmv or mpg movies. (Not sure what formats the Android phones support these days but I know that they use webkit for their browses just like iApple does.)

I'm also curious about TGPs if anyone has a list..

I accept them at my LL's although I don't use them myself except for the occasional hun gallery :)

Most Android devices support a handful of media codecs out of the box, including H.264 and MP4.

I have always wondered about MP4 movies - do you just link to them from a screencap?
How do you get it set-up so that the movie plays in the gallery?

When I do it , my browser just downloads the movie - I must be missing something?

Just linking to the mp4 file should work. Do you have something to play mp4 movies installed on your PC, like QuickTime?

I do now |bananna| but I still don't get that when I look at Pimproll's movie galleries the movie plays in the browser , but when i make a gallery with the it doesn't |huh

Do you need to set up sort of a player in the gallery?

Nothing goes in the gallery. It sounds like you don't have your MIME types set up correctly on your server.
