Decent webhosting.
 

While I'm getting my website set up properly, I'm looking for Virtual Server hosting with up to 750Gb of monthly bandwidth with the option to transfer seamlessly across to a dedicated server as my traffic and content grows. I have a pal who wants to do the same thing while he's getting his new website up also.

My current host (Colo-cation) doesn't seem to want to take on this request, although I am very happy where I am and with their service to date. Any suggestions from anybody? |huh

The only suggestion that I would give you is Colo-catio but you are already with Colo-catio.

Why virtual? the host I use (see my sig.) have a small dedicated for $69 and with a promo code you get 2000GB transfer,
and you just add more ram, space, BW or whatever you need
I don´t know much about the server tech.stuff so I can´t really talk for them, check them out and tell them what you need, they are good guys

We are able to transfer you to a dedicated server absolutely smoothly.
With our new system, the switch takes about 30-90 seconds and there's
no worries about members that joined during the switch and the other
hassles that normally accompany a switch. We're doing that next week for
a client. Using technology developed for Clonebox, we'll transfer him back to
a dedicated server from the shared one he's on now and nothing changes
except that the performance increases.

We are right for you if you appreciate having things done right, by people who
really know what they are doing. We're not going to be the cheapest thing out
there, although we're certainly competitive. There's probably a host out there
with faster tech support, but there's none with better, more knowledgeable support.
So if you appreciate quality, we'd be a good match. If you're wanting cheap
"made in China" hosting, we can recommend some other companies instead.
