hi i been working my ass off to get full public link list respect and now i have link script and atleast 10 free sites in each category i am shy a few pay sites in a few categories but will soon be full

and i ask will you guys or girls list it now i have a few more things to touch up, like banners and maybe a front color change and a index overhaul, but nothing major..please take a look.. click my sig

Looking at the site as a whole, no, it's not ready - mostly because you have the "soon" areas & unlinked categories in that big table.

To me, it still looks like it's "Under Construction" :(

if i link the big dick category and hardcore to links and blank out the "soon" text what will you think.. i planned on opening those two cats up

i put the soons in there to expand categories and not have to redo tables

Hardcore is an easy cat to fill out, just look at any link site and take 20 or so sites, review them, and list them. You are done. Big dick is just a little harder, not enough good real content.

Don't shortcut! Take an extra day and do the work needed before you turn it on.

Maybe it's just me, but besided color, your listings look remarkably like Greenguy - same font, same color, same placement of the "new" gif, etc... Might I suggest you try slightly to be a little more original (and it doesn't have to be much)?

Just a thought.

It looks fine, but it does look a lot like link-o-rama, maybe a tie dyed version. LOL

I've always liked Comic Sans. The Mac version of it, still comes from Microsoft, I really like a lot. With so few fonts to choose from it can be hard to be unique. I would have done my link list in Comic Sans if it wasn't for the fact that Greenguy was already using it on his link list.

Like DD said, just finish it. :)

i got a plan finish up hardcore category and maybe one more and redo the cat tables and the site should look finished because right now i got plenty of categories to work with, when i made those tables my thinking was not right with what was possible

i should have started with less and added a new cat table instead of leaving "soon" and unlinked cats but being new and never built a link list i never figured in all the time it takes to do it all

and whats wrong with Comic Sans font on link sites

Comics Sans is fone for a link site - but not really for one that looks like a color challenged copy of link-o-rama. Porn - o - Plenty , Link - o - rama... I see a theme. The page layout is similar, (including using a dividing line on the page near the top), generally it feels VERY similar.

While imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, it also ain't very original! If you want to carve out a niche, you have to be at least slightly original!

alex believe me i didnt intend for my site to look like link o rama at the time i designed the site i only made 4 or 5 free sites and i didnt know at the time to make anything different than a old fashioned free site design, banner content banner content then i learned that a site map was good to put on your pages and soon after that i said to my self that it looks like greenguys site..

i got so much time and money in this site that the only thing i can do is make it more original looking..

before i bought the domain i posted the name and asked greenguy if the name was too similar to his and nobody complained.. so i bought it

as for fronts before i got into this i barely new what a front was untill i started looking at my web editor and tryed them all till i found one i liked Comics Sans and i like it.. so that what i am useing untill i change front colors i might change the text front

and the whole time i been doing this for 5 months i made $57.35 so if i am guilty of useing someones theme i sure havent profitted from it and dont take me for a smart ass but it is fact..

Plateman, it's isn't about any ONE item... any single issue would just be "one of those things"... but so much of it is similar that it struck me within seconds of arriving at the site.

it isn't just the font. It isn't just the name. It's the layout, the spacing, the number of banners, the order of items... the specific NEW! animated gif... most of it isn't EXACTLY like, but darn close...

You probably didn't intend it... you are just heavily influenced by what you have seen. Without realizing it, without intending it, you have ended up there.

yea i spent atleast 2 hours here http://www.gifanimations.com/action/...up=1&parent=26 looking at gifs to use and then find out greenguy and a lot of other sites have the same one ,why because it burns less bw than all of the others i looked at..

i am going to change it when i get done with my cat tables, and that goes to show ya how much stuff on the net is used by millions of others, be it content, layouts gifs, and it is hard to be original but i am going to down the road make it look different than a lot of other sites
