Looking For JV Partners to Help with Pre-Launch

Hey guys,

We're setting up shop big time over @ http://www.LoveAmateurs.com

It's going to be a massive membership site with tons and tons of amateur/homemade videos.

We're currently doing some pre-launch marketing and could definitely use the help of a few webmasters willing to promote a bit as well.

We can talk about payment or any other options. We could also offer free ad space for the first few months on our site to return the favor.

Please do get in touch if you'd like to discuss details.

Not a lot of experienced webmasters will jump on helping you with a site when we have no idea what the finished site will look like and can't be sure what kind of content you'll be using.

Will the "tons of amateur/homemade videos" be user-submitted? Or is this content you're shooting yourself? Or is it all purchased content? Some mix of those?

Also, will this be your first-ever adult membership site? Kind of sounds like it since you're asking for help with things an experienced operator would certainly know about.

Finally, you mention free ad space as a possible payment, but if this is to be a "massive membership" site then you won't want to have ads on your tour pages (and ads inside the members area aren't always a good idea). And of course ad space is most valuable on sites with plenty of traffic, which I'd guess you won't have when you open for business in a couple of weeks.

Just some things to think about, and maybe to talk about here if you like.

:)

good points simon,
i'd like to add a few other points that need pointed out from 3xl too..

content management plans, including how often its updated?
how do you plan on handling billing and with whom?
what do you call tons? makes me think 10,000 plus...not a hundreds..
and what other things do you have planned for membership retention? such as web cams, live chats, photo series, games, personals, ect..
and do you plan on them being downloadable or strictly on site viewable?
what security measures do you plan on having in place? such as anti-hack software, anti warez and password trading measures...

all these matter...
and of course the percentage matters too..

I didn't read anything that led me to believe there was going to be an affiliate program tied to the site 3XL mentioned in the first post. So I left that alone.

If that had been mentioned I'd have advised *against* having an affiliate program at all until the operators of the site knew how their site converted with plenty of self-generated traffic, since asking webmasters to send traffic to an untested site is just asking us to beta test something that hasn't even been alpha tested at all yet.

And of course there would then have to be all the basic and advanced marketing tools that would need to be developed, produced, and supplied to affiliate webmasters.

:)
