SEO and domain/ip's

OK right now I have 5 ips on my dedicated box most of my sites however are on 1 ip, and are using name based domains. Should I maybe be putting these new link lists on virtual hosts while they build up on different hosts so that I can link on different ip's / networks? Is that beneficial? Does the linking on the same domain/network make that big a difference?

Please advise.
Andy

I have no hard facts, but from what I've heard thru the grapevine, it's better to have your somains on seperate IP's & even better if you can spread them out across a couple hosts (different Class C's)

That's what I had heard as well, just figured I would check, on that note, can anyone recommend any good virtual plans anywhere? I have a dedicated box at Cyberwurx and dont really see the need for a second as my traffic isn't that high.
