Code to make a image popup when mouseover a text link

I've seen TGP scripts that make pages like this but I need to do it on some text links inside of a member's area so that when a member mouseovers a text link for a movie a thumb of that movie pops up.

Cleo - do you have a copy of TGPX? If you do, you can look in the "examples" folder for a file called "mouseover_thumbs.txt" and you'll find the code they use for that effect. If you don't have a copy I can send you the code from that file. It uses the jquery.js library for the effect.

I'm still using AutoGallerySQL so no I don't but that is where I saw the effect and wasting a bunch of time last night trying to figure out how TGPX did it.

I think part of it is written in the core. I was looking at mine, and I know what the call is for it, but can't find the core code that the call uses to do this.

Actually, that effect was included with AutoGallerySQL too, so you can find that file in the examples folder there too. And since it's an earlier version it doesn't require you to have the jquerry.js library installed somewhere.

Let me know if you don't have it for some reason and I'll get it to you.

Just looked through all the templates in my example folder and didn't find mention of this code anywhere.

For the TGPX version it calls the jquerry.js library that's in the "includes" folder; the one in the main directory, not the one inside the admin folder.

Thanks, not sure how I was missing that.

I like it. Very simple, easy to do and works great.

After messing around with the above solution for a while I decided to instead go with this solution since it puts the thumb over the end of the text link instead of at a fixed point on the page like the other solution.
