Question on LLs rules

Hi everybody

Have a question on rules.

Most link lists, directories, etc say in their rules, free sites must have a warning page, 2 galleries, each thumbnail opening a picture. They don't want pictures opened in a another html page.

Is there any logical explanation for this?

As a newbie, I think opening each picture in it's own page would permit more sponsors visibilty, hence, more potencial for sales/conversions.

So, if anybody has a reasonable explanation, would love to read it.

Thanks in advance

Bert

Bert,

[Oops edited]

Pics on html pages means the reviewer in essence needs to check every page. In the past this has been an area of abuse.. big banners, redirections etc. So many LL's chose not to allow it.

What DDave said. It's a great way to sell but abused more times than not. |sad|

Hi Bert,
I'm assuming you have a 'hub' page, which would normally be your domains main index page.

If you have, you need to make mirror pages of your submitted free sites, with 1 recip back to your hub page on each mirror, to feed traffic back.

Use your hub pages to send traffic to your free sites that you haven't submitted, e.g. www.domain.com/freesite/hubsite/ and build your gallery pages with html pages so you can advertise on those too.

I knew it had to be a logical reason.

Thanks all

Bert
